Guitar help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!?
So I’m taking classical guitar lessons, and our teacher told us that we should learn a couple of chords. So he wrote them down and played them for us, he plays all his demos on an electric guitar. But when I played it on my classical guitar they sounded so dodgy, my guitar is in tune and it sounds like that in all classical Guitars, even the ones at school. When we played the chords infront of him in classical he didn’t say anything like “Oh why does that sound so bad!” But when I played in on electrical guitar they sounded fine. HELP! What’s wrong?
One; your instructor shouldn’t be trying to teach classical guitar on an electric.
Two; Your problem is caused by trying to make your guitar sound like your teacher’s guitar. It ain’t gonna work.
The only thing keeping you from advancing is that you have the wrong teacher. Venturing a guess, I’d say he’s a rock guitarist that’s teaching classical to make day job money.
