Guitar lessons for beginners: Getting started
Beginning guitar lessons for beginners can be a daunting task for some people. There you have the basics step by step so as not to be overwhelmed with all new concepts such as notes, chords and strumming. Reproduction videos on a computer or having to download them can be inconvenient (and Internet access required).

A third option for the classes are the digital video (DVD).
These are similar to video-tape online classes, but are packaged on DVD instead. You can take classes on DVD without any Internet connection, with or without a computer (with a DVD player). Sometimes just play DVDs in better quality audio and video, and are easier to stop, start or rewind. As far as disadvantages on DVD, about the only cost is slightly higher compared with the online lessons – because of their need to be packaged and shipped.
